Sanjiv Ahuja – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Mr. Ahuja has been the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman since April 28, 2010. In 2007 Sanjiv founded Augere, a company delivering affordable, genuine wireless broadband to underserved customers in developing markets such as Bangladesh and Pakistan.

He is also the founder and chairman of Eaton Telecom, a telecommunications infrastructure company with a presence of 12 African countries.

From 2004 until 2007, Sanjiv was Chief Executive Officer of Orange. Throughout this time, he served as a member of the board of Orange SA and of France Telecom’s Group Management Committee. During his leadership, the Orange customer base grew from 48 million subscribers to more than 100 million subscribers globally. Prior to Orange, Sanjiv was Chief Executive Officer of Comstellar Technologies, a technology company that funded several businesses including Leapstone Systems and Mesh Networks.

He was previously president of Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore) and led the turnaround and sale of Bellcore to SAIC. Sanjiv began his career at IBM in 1979 as a software engineer. He has a degree in electrical engineering from Delhi University, India, and a masters degree from Columbia University in New York. He is currently a non-executive director of Telenor S.A."
